Committee Night:

The Vestry has elected to have a monthly Committee Night on the 4th Monday of every month. All the standing committees of the Vestry and additional committees in the parish will be able to meet during this time every month.

In order to allow people a chance to meet with multiple committees, there will be several sessions during our hour and a half meeting time.  The hope is to conserve time and energy for all the people involved in our various ministries.  It will also give Fr. Furlow a change to rotate through and meet with each group as needed.

If you are already on a parish committee of any sort, you are invited to attend this first Monday in August.  If you are not on a committee yet, hang in there. Your opportunity is coming in September.  If there is a particular committee you would like to serve on, please be in touch with Fr. Furlow.  There are always plenty of programmatic ministries to be done, and we'll get you connected as soon as possible.  Please begin or continue to discern how you might give of your time and talent to the community.

Our Parish's Call to Vision & Mission

The process of visioning is critical for the well-being and on-going mission of the Church.  As a result, the Vestry and the Rector have identified the need to be in a process of working on vision and mission here at Holy Trinity and to clearly articulate a plan for future ministry of our ministry.  In order to have everyone in the parish participate in this effort, the evenings of June 23 and July 28 were set aside as Visioning Nights. The entire parish is invited to the parish hall on these evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Hearty snacks will be provided.  We had a good attendance in June. Please join us this month and be prepared to have fun and engage in group conversations.

Parish Picnic:

Our parish picnic is a perfect opportunity to gather as school starts and to kickoff our fall program year here at Holy Trinity.  We especially welcome newcomers to join us as we for the beginning of the fall season.  The picnic will be on Sunday, August 17 at 4:30 p.m. in the churchyard.  More details to come.  Please keep an eye on the weekly bulletin.

Anglican Mission and Identity

For the four Sundays in July Fr. Furlow will be teaching a class on Anglican Mission and Identity. The class will be held in the Parish Hall from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. All ages are welcome to attend.
